Plain-language template. This document describes how mmmry actually works, in good faith and in everyday English. It is template text that has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have qualified counsel review and adapt it for your jurisdiction and entity before relying on it in production.

mmmry is a private memory tool — but a few uses put other people, our providers, or the service itself at risk. This policy lists them. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking it can lead to suspension or termination.

Don't break the law or harm others

  • Don't use mmmry for anything illegal, or to facilitate illegal activity.
  • Don't store or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We report CSAM to the authorities as required by law, with zero tolerance.
  • Don't harass, threaten, defame, or violate the privacy of others.
  • Don't infringe intellectual-property or other rights. See the Copyright / DMCA policy.

Don't abuse the infrastructure

  • Don't store or transmit malware, or use mmmry to phish or scam.
  • Don't attempt to gain unauthorized access to mmmry, other users' data, or our providers.
  • Don't probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our written permission, or defeat rate limits, budgets, or other protections.
  • Don't scrape, overload, or disrupt the service, or use it to launch attacks on others.
  • Don't resell, sublicense, or run the service for third parties, or use automated means to create accounts.

Use the capture features as intended

mmmry fetches URLs you give it to read and screenshot them. Don't use that to reach internal, private, or non-public network resources, or to route attacks through our servers. We apply technical protections against this and will act on attempts to circumvent them.
